Transforming lives.
Impacting Futures.

The Rezco Foundation has a heart to radically impact those deemed “the least of these” and fight the epidemic of poverty, specifically in South Africa. We support, empower and partner with high-quality non-profit organisations, assisting them with their growth and development.

Our Mission

Big Impact Giving

We adopt a trust-based, quiet giving strategy, and are serious about purposeful significance. We seek out exceptional non-profits with a proven track record and collaborate with them to enable sustainable growth and development.

Together with our partners, we strive to create a lasting impact and provide hope to the vulnerable and marginalised in our society.

Our Story

In 2016, our Group CEO Rob Spanjaard and founder Wally Gray were deeply moved by the challenges faced by vulnerable communities in South Africa, and they knew that they had to take action.

The Foundation has given significantly over R40 million to organisations that make a big impact in the most vulnerable communities specifically within South Africa, with impact that extends across the world.

The Rezco Foundation has adopted a trust-based, quiet giving strategy to organisations that have high faith levels and are passionate and focused on their mission-critical work. We give as much as is prudently sustainable for the Foundation, keeping our costs at a bare minimum so that every cent we are entrusted with ultimately helps the receiving beneficiary at the end of the day.

Our approach to philanthropy is grounded in collaboration and a shared commitment to making a real difference. We give to trusted organisations, without demand, yet we keep a very intentional, active eye on the impact, ensuring our giving is continually maximized and stewarded faithfully. We believe in providing our partners the flexibility to use the funds in a way that makes the most sense for their organisations on a trust-based approach.

Our strategic objective is to serve stakeholders whilst stewarding the impact of our partnerships. From addressing child abuse to tackling unemployment and hunger, we are grateful for the positive impact our partners have made on communities across South Africa.
